I made these for dinner tonight and they were a big hit!!!
INGREDIENTS
Meatballs :
1 lb. lean ground turkey (93/7)
1/3 cup bread crumbs - I use Whole Wheat
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1 Tbsp. minced parsley
1/4 cup egg substitute (or 1 egg)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
(Salt and pepper may be added if you wish, but I like them without)
Sauce :
1 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1/4 cup brown sugar
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and place in oven while it is heating. Mix all meatball ingredients together thoroughly. Use an ice cream scoop to measure meat for the balls. Roll into ball and place in warm dish - 1 inch apart. I got 15 meatballs out of this batch. Push down slightly on center of meatballs. Mix up the sauce ingredients. Brush the sauce onto the meatballs - I am really liberal with this!!! Bake for about 30 minutes, or until meat is done. Enjoy.

SWEET TURKEY CHILI
My famous (with family and friends) sweet turkey chili. If you are looking for spicy, this one is not for you. If you like things sweet, then this is perfect! I grew up with chili that had a high tomato base and very mild. I like a bit more spice now than I did then, but the family likes it sweet. If my hubby wants spicy he just throws in some tabasco sauce and he is good to go. This is a way I can sneak some veggies past the kids. You could add your own ingredients and spices to make it your own.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. lean 93/7 ground turkey
1/2 Tbsp. onion flakes (or more)
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1/2 Tbsp. sugar or sugar substitute
1/2 tsp. mined garlic
2 cans chili beans in mild sauce
1 can petite diced tomatoes
1/4 cup ketchup
DIRECTIONS
Slow Cooker - Brown meat with onion, garlic, and spices. Drain and put in slow cooker. Add beans and tomatoes and cook on Low for at least 4 hours.
Microwave - Place ground turkey, onion, and spices in a microwave safe bowl. Cook for 5 minutes and stir. Cook for another 5 minutes. Add the beans, tomatoes, and ketchup and stir. Cook for 10-15 more minutes (stirring every 5 minutes). Serve
***I use my bean pot from Celebrating Home for my microwave chili. It is wonderful! I am not a consultant, but you can contact one - they have many styles.

SKINNY GROUND TURKEY STRONGANOFF
This is my own version after trying several recipes over the years. We really like it! I tried to make it a little healthier. It is a great dinner when you need something quick and easy. It is so creamy and is nice and warm in your tummy on those cold winter days.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. lean 93/7 ground turkey
1 can lowfat cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup skim milk
1 cup fat free sour cream
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. onion flakes (or real onion pieces - cooked)
1 Tbsp. parsley
1 lb. whole wheat noodles
DIRECTIONS
Boil the noodles according to package directions. Drain and keep warm. Brownground turkey with onions, parsley, and garlic until cooked. Add the soup and milk. Simmer on Medium-Low till warm and creamy - about 20 min. Stir in sour cream, then serve.
Some versions use mushrooms, but only 1 out of the 4 people in our house likes them, so majority rules!
